The Stanley Hotel needed a trustworthy and dependable roof contractor, as their historic red roof had to be replaced due to wind and hail damage to shingles. The project included removing the existing roof in addition to a layer of 100-year-old wood shake shingles and installing new flame-retardant decking to help protect the historic hotel from fire danger. We worked closely with the Historic Society to make sure all the materials and colors met their strict requirements.
Included in the project was the roof replacement of the main hotel, Concert Hall, Lodge, museum and the employee dormitories. Because the summer season is the most critical time for their business, the project was completed in 60 days in order to open for the busy Memorial Day weekend.
